The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases of items and/or services from this website.
Please read this document carefully before placing your order. We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time. Any such changes shall not affect any contract subsisting between us at the time of such change. We advise you, our valued customer, to print and keep safe a copy of these terms and conditions for your reference.
By placing an order with First Stop Print Ltd (referred to as us / we / our) you (the customer) are accepting these terms and conditions, as well as our terms of website use, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and supersede all others. Receipt of acknowledgement of order by you, constitutes your acceptance that our conditions are the only conditions that apply to the contract notwithstanding any purported terms put forward by you.
Payment is required in full before delivery. Payment is non-refundable.
2.1 Payment is accepted using the following

2.2 Payment by cheque, postal order or credit facility is not supported by First Stop Print Ltd. First Stop Print Ltd operates on a cleared funds basis only and will not process any orders for goods or services until payment has been authorised. Furthermore, First Stop Print Ltd does not offer credit accounts or the facility to make prepayments on any goods or services offered within.
2.3 Should there be any uncertainty regarding the credibility of a submitted payment, First Stop Print Ltd reserves the right to suspend the order in question.
2.4 All prices listed are exclusive of Value Added Tax. VAT applies to all transactions for goods or services at the current applicable rate at the time of purchase.
3.1 Every effort will be made to deliver on time, but any delivery day specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods. All deliveries will be charged at the prevailing rates applying at the date of such delivery.
3.2 Special rush deliveries can usually be arranged but will usually be subject to additional charges, rates will be quoted upon request.
3.3 We accept no responsibility for deliveries being missed due to non payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that full payment is made before delivery can take place.
3.4 All goods delivered or not, remain our property until payment is received in full.
3.5 Until such time as payment is made you shall retain such goods separately from other goods and clearly mark them in such a way that they can be readily identified as being our property and any payment received by you for any sale of such goods must be held in a separate account in trust for us. In the event of non-payment for such goods we will, without loss of any rights or remedy, remove from your possession those goods belonging to us in accordance with these conditions and we shall be entitled to enter upon the property where the goods are stored to repossess and remove the same. You hereby grant us an irrevocable licence to enter your premises for the said purposes.
We reserve the right to alter any details of products advertised without notice and while every effort is made to describe goods accurately in the advertisement no warranty is given as to accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for error or any resulting loss.
Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today’s current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation of accepted contract; we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you.
Where applicable all prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate.
7.1 Claims arising from damages, delay or partial loss in transit must be made in writing to us, so as to reach us within 7 working days of delivery.
7.2 All claims with regard to the quality or quantity of the goods shall be made in writing to us so as to reach us within 7 working days of receipt of goods or such goods shall be deemed to comply as to quality and quantity within the terms of the contract.
7.3 You must examine all goods delivered at the time of delivery. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from damage caused to the goods in transit unless loss or damage is noted on the delivery note at time of delivery.
7.4 We require any printing to be returned in full before agreeing to reprint. If we deem the printing to be of sufficient quality, and within tolerance we reserve the right to return the goods and refuse a reprint or refund.
8.1 Except as set out in the clause below, we will be under no liability to you whatsoever whether in contract, tort (including negligence) breach of statutory duty, restitution or otherwise for any injury, death, damage or direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include without limitation, pure economic loss, loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and like loss) howsoever caused arising out of any information or other materials contained in this website and our service, including, without limitation, as a result of any computer virus or any errors in the content of this website or any communication from us regarding the same.
8.2 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the rights of a consumer.
9.1 We Reserve the right to rectify defective work by reprinting and shall not be liable to refund.
9.2 If we offer to replace you must accept such an offer unless you can show clear cause for refusing to do so.
9.3 If you do opt to have work re-done by a third party without reference to us you automatically revoke your right to any remedy from us.
9.4 Defective work must be returned to us before replacement, if the subject work is not available we will assume that it has been accepted and no replacement will be provided.
9.5 Refunds will be completed within 7 working days once we agree to refund.
Please note that payment is non-refundable.
If agreed in advance with the Printer, please note that a 40% charge of the total value of the original order will be made on all cancelled orders plus a £10.00 charge to cover administration costs. Any costs incurred for work already carried out up to the date of written cancellation will also be charged for and deducted before any refunds are made.
These will be submitted on approval and will be available free of charge, unless otherwise stated.
Any changes in quantity ordered must be made in writing to us prior to commencement of processing. Any increases in the order must be regarded as a separate contract unless written notification is received before work commences on the original order.
13.1 Full artwork is supplied by the customer in the right formats. We do not take any responsibility for any mistakes which appear on the artwork. A charge may be made to cover any additional work involved where copy supplied is not clear or legible. Any design work will cost extra. Offers exclude any bespoke products unless otherwise stated.
13.2 The entire copyright throughout the world in all printing plates, digital, transfer, litho positives and negatives, artwork, designs, photographic transparencies, negatives or positives and any other artistic craftsmanship made by or for First Stop Print Ltd pursuant to or in implementation of any contract with the customer shall belong to First Stop Print Ltd. First Stop Print Ltd agrees that unless the customer becomes in default of any obligation to make any payment to First Stop Print Ltd, it will not reproduce any such items for any competitor in business of the customer.
13.3 Every effort will be made to deliver the correct colours ordered. Due to many variants including paper stock, humidity, temperature and printing press used, colours may vary slightly. All printing jobs will be printed digitally unless agreed in advance.
Proofs will be sent to the customer for approval and the Printer shall incur no liability for any errors not corrected in proofs. Printing proofs must be approved within 5 days of receipt.
If we have not been notified after 5 days a £10.00 administration fee may be due.
We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in the carrying out of our obligations under the contract arising from any cause outside our reasonable control or by inability to procure materials or articles except at higher prices due to any such cause and in such circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or in part without incurring any liability whatsoever to you.
The contract between us the company and you the Customer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.
We operate a complaints handling procedure, which we will use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. We will endeavour to acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days. If you have a complaint please contact us on:

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you have a right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. We will provide you with a legible copy of the personal information it holds and to which you are entitled upon request. This will be sent to you within 40 days of your request – we will require proof of your identity before supplying the information (in order to mitigate the risk of supplying information to the wrong person) and may ask you for further information to assist in locating your personal information. All personal report requests are subject to a £5 charge payable to us.

We believe the environment is the responsibility of every individual and the duty of every company to make sure that they do all they can to safeguard our beautiful land for forthcoming generations. To this end, we at FirstStopPrint.co.uk make sure that every process of the printing cycle from the paper we use to the print process to delivery to the way our business is conducted is in a way which minimises environmental impact.
As our presses are completely digital, virtually no make ready is necessary compared to a traditional offset process. Jobs can be prepared while another is still printing. Delicate adjustments due to ink and water balance in the traditional workflow are eliminated. Colour is up to density and in register on the first page off the press as this is all digitally controlled. There is therefore an environmental benefit in the reduction of energy consumed by a large percentage and paper used. All our office and production facility equipment is modern and energy saving rated to ensure minimal waste of electricity.
